Dress like you your favorite cowboy from the old west or silver screen? Shoot a six-shooter, an old Winchester, a scattergun? Here’s your chance. Join us, the Capital City Cowboys. We are a SASS affiliated cowboy action club located just a short trail ride from Topeka, the capital city of Kansas. We dress in old west clothing and shoot single action revolvers, lever action rifles, and old west period shotguns. We compete against the clock and ourselves with live ammo using lead bullets just like the cowboys of old. Our cowboys and cowgirls are from all walks of life and also include the younger buckaroos as well. It is a family sport. Saddle up and join us and enjoy the sport of shooting and the history and legends of the old west.
